That leaves only 2% of tile setters that are well-equipped to give you a water tight shower. 

Some of the most obvious signs that you have a leak would be mold, cracked grout or tiles, and rotting subfloors. Of course there are many different things that can happen when moisture gets into your walls and floor. These include termites, rust, discoloration, and structural damages.
